In the ever-evolving landscape of digital connectivity, my journey with the Jamboree on the Air- Jamboree on the Internet (JOTA-JOTI) has been a remarkable odyssey, marked by moments of profound learning, growth, and shared joy. As I reflect on the honor of facilitating the "Photography 101" session at this prestigious event, I am humbled by the privilege of having presented in April 2020, October 2021, October 2022, and October 2023, each experience leaving an indelible mark on my heart and soul.

With each presentation, I witnessed the transformative power of technology in bringing together over a million Scouts from 172 countries, transcending borders and cultures to celebrate the timeless values of Scouting. In April 2020, amidst the uncertainty of a global pandemic, JOTA-JOTI emerged as a beacon of hope, resilience, and solidarity, providing a lifeline of connection and community in challenging times.

October 2021 marked a pivotal moment of renewal and reimagining, as JOTA-JOTI embraced innovative digital platforms and immersive experiences to engage Scouts in meaningful learning and exploration. Together, we embarked on a journey of discovery, leveraging the power of photography to capture the beauty of the world around us and foster a deeper appreciation for nature and creativity.

In October 2022, our collective spirit soared to new heights as JOTA-JOTI welcomed Scouts from every corner of the globe, united by a shared passion for adventure, learning, and friendship. Through interactive workshops and collaborative projects, we celebrated the diversity of cultures and perspectives, enriching our understanding of the world and our place within it.

As we gathered once again in October 2023, I was filled with a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to this extraordinary event, alongside dedicated volunteers and visionary leaders. Together, we embarked on a journey of exploration, discovery, and empowerment, igniting the spark of curiosity and possibility in the hearts of Scouts worldwide.

In each presentation, I was reminded of the invaluable role played by the World Organization of the Scouting Movement (WOSM), the driving force behind the world's leading educational youth movement. With unwavering commitment and visionary leadership, WOSM continues to empower 57 million young people and volunteers in over 172 countries, inspiring a legacy of leadership, service, and global citizenship.

As I stand at the crossroads of past achievements and future aspirations, I am filled with a profound sense of pride and gratitude for the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary journey. Together, let us continue to embrace the spirit of Scouting, as we navigate the boundless wilderness of the digital age with courage, resilience, and boundless enthusiasm.
